The artist formally known as John has sneaked up to 100 games this weekend.

Unlike many of his team mates, he’s one of the quietest bloke off the field, and has flown under the radar for many years.

A graduate of Unley High School (2013), Yograj joined the Rangers when it had six teams and over 100 blokes (it was hard to keep track of who’s-who back then with random names given out such as ‘John’).

As a player, he has grown and matured immensely over the years – a real testament to him and the Ranger coaches – any side would be pleased to have him.

In the early days, he was often under-rated. However, over the years, it became obvious Yog had a knack for scoring (finding the net 46 times to date). A sharp shooter in front of goal, and always on the hunt for more, Yograj has been rewarded with the Golden Boot twice. A natural attacking player, comfortable on the ball with deceptive speed has caused headaches for many oppositions that has transferred onto the scoreboard. A passionate footballer, loves an indoor game, rarely misses a training session, Yograj has earned the respect of many Rangers.

He has the ability to play higher but is comfortable to play in the Div. 5 to help bring down the average age by 10 or so years.

Top effort in making the 100 club and best of luck! Let’s bring home three points in the local derby!

Come on you Rangers!
