Welcome to the Unley Old Scholars Football Club website, home of the mighty Unley Rangers!

The Unley Old Scholars Football Club is a club established by the players, for the players. The club has and continues to pride itself on offering a fun, safe, inclusive environment for all members and supporters to participate. Known as the Unley Rangers, the club is structured to allow all members and supporters the opportunity to be involved in making our club the best it possibly can be.

Established in 1998, the Unley Rangers were born from a group of old scholars and an enthusiastic coach who completed their school football and turned their attention to the next challenge. The club has grown in the two decades since from a group of teenagers having a kick on Saturdays into one of the biggest in the Collegiate Soccer League. The Unley Rangers represents itself in all of the Collegiate Soccer League divisions and has around 100 participating members each year and is (and always has been) led by a volunteered committee, with the interests of its members given priority. The Collegiate Soccer League plays matches at three timeslots on Saturdays from 11am, 1pm and 3pm and is Football Federation South Australia affiliated.

The club was formerly located at the grounds of Unley High School,  where it grew in reputation and completed many of its finest achievements. A premiership in its inaugural season was followed by five more across various grades in the coming years in addition to two famous CSL cup victories. These days, the Rangers are based out of the Southern City Parklands following a 2016 merger with National Premier League powerhouse Adelaide City as the club takes the next step in securing its prospering future. The new facilities and atmosphere is second to none within the Collegiate Soccer League, with access to change rooms, canteen and bar services and a number of fields to share across a significant amount of teams.

The Unley Rangers promotes an inclusive and friendly environment and encourages a welcoming atmosphere coupled with our continuing support from the local community. The club continues to welcome new talent and continues a strong relationship with Unley High School as it strives to continue on with the success it has shown since its inception.
